The agent reads and tries
It reads code, searches, runs tests and type checks. Read-only work just happens.
You approve each change
Every file write comes with a diff, every command says what it will do — and “always allow” never covers risky commands like rm -rf or a force push.
Roll back if it’s wrong
Changed files are snapshotted before each turn. Undo a whole turn, one file, or a range of turns.

Runs locally, no server in between
The agent runs on your computer and calls the model provider you configure — Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek, or any compatible endpoint. API keys are encrypted by your operating system’s secure storage and stay on this machine. An account is optional and only syncs conversations across devices — and that is off by default.
Buddy: an agent in your menu bar
When you don’t need the whole workspace, there’s Buddy. Each agent is a little pixel pet on your desktop — click it to chat, and scheduled tasks run on their own. Works on macOS, Windows and Linux.
